How to Become a Resident
1. Your family doctor, nurse or social worker can refer you or you can contact us yourself (we recommend that even if you have private funding to purchase long term care, that you contact your social worker as a matter of course to let them know that you are considering moving into long term care, as they can advise you on securing social work funding when your private funding runs out, provide information regarding free personal care and free nursing care, and help you process your application for theae entitlements).

2. You and your family or friends will welcome to come to the home to visit before you decide on whether you wish to stay.

3. Following a consultation with your GP, you will be invited to stay at Isle View (providing there is a vacancy) for a month's trial.

4. During this time your needs will be carefully assessed; then if you are happy with your surroundings and we are confident that we can accommodate you, we will invite you to stay.

5. You will then be advised on the social and financial commitment of becoming a resident.

Temporary Holiday Care may also be available ... or Day Care to join in social events or for a chat.
